For over thirty years, Catellani & Smith has been working with light in its large workshops, where the hands of skilled artisans are able to craft unique, unrepeatable objects in which you can perceive – as Enzo Catellani says – “a total commitment to perfection, research, attention and expression”. The light ‘illustrated’ in the new Catalogue 2020-2021 demonstrates the company commitment to art and technology. The book cover itself is simple, but features a great communicative power, presenting a spine coloured in an intense red hue and the company logo printed in gold.
As regards the contents, the Catalogue has been enriched by new beautiful images of projects and each lamp is presented against the distinctive blue background that enhances its finishes and design.
The latest and remarkable novelty presented in the Catalogue 2020-2021 is the ceiling lamp DiscO that reinterprets the historic halogen ‘Disco’, maintaining its original design. Equipped with a last generation LED light source, DiscO presents innovative and technologically advanced features and a new oval-shaped disc, as the name of the lamp recalls in the final capital ‘O’ that summarizes its transformation.
The new Catalogue includes the latest creations presented at Euroluce: 28 and 56 Petits Bijoux, 22 Petites Lentilles, Herem T, the wireless Giulietta BE in the floor and table versions, EC 301 that is now available also in white finish, and Alchemie T, which is complemented by the floor lamp Alchemie F, available upon request.
Page after page, lamps that belong to historic and iconic collections as well as the most recent ones will inspire the reader, who will be invited to retrace the stages of a company that has contributed to the extraordinary history of lighting.
